Shondrella Avery CEO & Founder

Shondrella Avery, a talented and visionary artist, made a bold transition from her role as a Fortune 500 C-level manager to follow her passion for storytelling in the entertainment industry. Armed with a BFA and a determination to succeed, she quickly made her mark, landing her first notable role as Lafawnduh in the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite. An accomplished comedienne, Shondrella became a familiar face on television, with standout roles as a series regular on Girls Behaving Badly, One on One, and Cuts. Her career expanded into a variety of acclaimed projects, including appearances in Tony Scott’s Déjà Vu alongside Denzel Washington, Gina Prince-Bythewood’s The Secret Life of Bees, and David Ayer’s End of Watch with Jake Gyllenhaal. After a decade of captivating audiences on-screen, Shondrella embraced her entrepreneurial spirit, transitioning into an Actor/Producer role. She has produced over 15 films, including Son of the South, an Oscar-considered feature produced alongside Executive Producer Spike Lee. As a proud member of the SAG-AFTRA and PGA unions, Shondrella continues to champion diversity and authenticity in storytelling. Through her leadership at Glass Slipper Pictures and its partnership with Homestead Entertainment, she is driving worldwide distribution for powerful, impactful narratives that resonate across audiences.

Adonnis Cooper Marketing Director

Adonnis Cooper, a Los Angeles native, serves as the Director of Marketing at Glass Slipper Pictures. A former Division 1 baseball player at Grambling State and Pierce College, Adonnis later earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Channel Islands. With a passion for digital storytelling, Adonnis has managed and grown multiple social media accounts across various platforms, spearheading marketing strategies for celebrity events and campaigns. His expertise lies in turning small ideas into big successes through the power of social media. At Glass Slipper Pictures, Adonnis leverages his creativity and communication skills to amplify the company’s vision, ensuring its stories reach and resonate with audiences worldwide.
